ReUse a Shoe

The City of Lansing Waste Reduction Services folks have teamed up with Nike's "Reuse-a-Shoe" campaign to recycle old athletic shoes!  Bring in athletic shoes to recycle and receive a Nike "Grind" Ball made from recycled athletic shoe material.  Only while supplies last!

Clear the Clutter

You can recycle the following items during all hours of the show!  If you recycle on opening day, you will receive half price admission, courtesy of the City of Lansing Waste Reduction Services!

PHONEBOOKS
PAPERBACK AND HARDBACK BOOKS, (books in good condition will by redistributed back into the community through churches & libraries)
CELL PHONES
HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES (Any Household battery, except for lead acid. No car batteries)
&
ATHLETIC SHOES!
Through the NIKE ReUse-A-Shoe Program you can bring you your old and used athletic shoes.
  *All brands of athletic shoes are accepted
  * No metal, cleats or spikes
  * No dress shoes, sandals, boots or other types of shoes will be accepted
